Matcha-do About Tea

Matcha is a Japanese ceremonial powdered green tea.  Matcha has special significance in Japan and is traditionally sipped from a traditional bowl and prepared in a Tea Ceremony called Chanoyu.  This  tea has a unique, creamy, sweet and rich oceanic taste.  Matcha is also one of the only types of teas where you ingest the leaf, thus providing larger health benefits than most other teas, like additional vitamin C and protein. Scroll below to find out how to prepare.

Royal Jelly Body Butter- by Savannah Bee Company

Savannah Bee Company’s Royal Jelly Body butter is a staff favorite at Soakology. Royal Jelly is made by bees to feed to the developing queen, so as a body butter, it is nutrient-packed and very nourishing for the skin.  We love how it softens and repairs skin, and the light blackberry scent is delicious! This luxuriant product is used to do the foot and lower-leg massage our monthly special, “End of Summer; Bummer.”

Ever have trouble getting to sleep?

Why not try a cup of chamomile lavender tea?  Both chamomile and lavender have been widely used to promote sleep and relaxation.  As a combined infusion, these herbs have a calming effect that may help the restless night-owl wind down. As with other herbal teas, it is caffeine free.  Its sweet floral taste is appealing to both children and adults.
