Tea Tip

This soothing, anti-aging powerhouse can help!

Chamomile Tea is well-known for its calming, stress-reducing effects and is widely used as a night-time tea to promote sleep.  But did you know that Chamomile is just as calming for the skin? When applied topically, it has been shown that the herb will reduce redness, fight dry & flaky skin, help with eczema & psoriasis, soothe a rash, and since its anti-microbial it can also help speed healing.

Packed with anti-oxidants, chamomile can help protect the skin from free radical damage and suppress the visible signs of aging.

Chamomile is gentle on sensitive or fragile skin which makes it ideal for use after waxing and to ease a diaper rash, sunburn, bedsore, or hemorrhoids.

To Use:
Brew a cup of Chamomile tea and saturate a soft cloth with the infusion. Apply to the affected area for up to 10 minutes. Chamomile’s anti-septic properties make it a great addition to home-made cleansers and soaps as well.
